When you book a bridal appointment with us, we will close the entire showroom down so we are able to focus solely on you. Our showroom is stocked with a selection of different styles and sizes - we encourage you to try on all silhouettes. You never know what you will fall in love with until you try it, right?! We cannot even begin to tell you how special our brides are to us. We understand that this is the most important day of your life, and we want to help you look and feel gorgeous. A celebration as significant as this one requires an exceptional dress. Working side by side with a designer allows you to have a look that is as unique as you are. We cannot wait to meet you and be a part of this huge moment in your life.
Bridal FAQs:
What sizes do you carry? Our off-the-rack-samples range from size 2-18. However, we also create custom wedding dresses tailored to your specific measurements.
Do you do in-house alterations? Yes! Any dress purchased at Carolina Soma may be available to receive alteration s
What if I want to add details to a dress? Depending on the silhouette and fabric, we can add details from hand beading to lace and more. For more information, please book a complimentary consultation with our designer, Carolina.
Do your wedding dresses come in other colors besides white? Yes, we have dresses in white, off-white, ivory and more. If you have a specific color in mind, we can create a custom piece for you. Do I have to book an appointment to shop your bridal selection? We do require appointments for bridal. Visit our website in order to schedule your appointment .
Can I bring guests with me to my appointment? Yes, we allow guests to accompany the bride! However, we do only allow a maximum of 4 guests during the appointment.
What is your price range? Our off-the-rack gowns range from $1,200 - $4,000.
How far in advance should I purchase my gown? This totally depends on the style and details. For custom bridal, we prefer to have at least 6 months of leeway before your big day. For off-the-rack options, we recommend at least 3 months before the date.
Do you charge rush fees? Yes, a rush fee will apply to each gown that has to be created
What should I bring with me to my appointment? If you have particular jewelry, accessories, veils, etc. that you are wanting to wear with your dress, we recommend bringing them so you can visualize. We also highly recommend bringing skin color undergarments with you.
Can I complete my entire look at Carolina Soma? Yes! We offer accessories to compliment your wedding dress including shoes, veils, headpieces and jewelry.
How many fittings will I need and when should I schedule them? You will typically need 2-3 fittings, however additional ones may be needed. A member of our staff will reach out to you and schedule all fittings. Following your last fitting, your bridal dress will be scheduled for you to pick up and take home.
How do you recommend I clean the dress? Each dress will come with its own unique care tag explaining how to care for each particular dress.
